Почитываю американский военный блог, не давняя запись полна драмы. С такими словами: Its a shame. Its a disgrace. Its all too common in the Marine Corps today. (пер. Это позор. Это безобразие. Это все слишком распространено сегодня в морской пехоте США),
также Marine Air is broken. (Авиация морской пехоты капут. О как!) You can fix it but it starts with new leadership. Davis must go!
(Это можно исправить с новых командующим. Дэвис должен уйти!)

Third Marine Aircraft Wing leader Maj. Gen. Mark Wise has relieved another commander following a "loss of trust and confidence in his ability to continue to serve" at the Miramar air station, according to a written statement provided to The San Diego Union-Tribune.
Citing "issues concerning command climate" within Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 232, the Corps announced the firing of Lt. Col. Wade "Casper" Workman on Wednesday. A highly decorated fighter pilot, Workman took command of the "Red Devils" on Jan. 15, following a stint as the Operations Officer of Marine Aircraft Group Eleven.
Miramar spokesman Capt. Kurt M. Stahl indicated that Workman was not relieved over allegations of misconduct or criminal activity but rather "an unhealthy command climate that negatively impacted trust within the unit that is critical to effective operations."
Workman, 41, told the Union-Tribune, "It just didn't work out."

Former USAF squadron Commander here, 22 Aircraft Generation Squadron (600 personnel and 50 KC 135s). I certainly cant comment on USMC squadron command issues, especially involving Operations. Based upon the fact that the Station commander fired two commanders recently, (one ops and one logistics and maintenance) my first suspicions would be a poor result in an inspection and/or an aircraft safety incident involving the maintainers and the operators. I spent many years with fighters as a flightline aircraft maintenance officer (F16 and F15E) and know that there are many opportunities to hurt an airman or damage an aircraft. Just my thoughts.
