Как-то выкладывали тут перечень того, что хранилось на заводе. И даже камент был - Бхопал. Нет, камрады, не Бхопал это. Такой токсичности как метилизоцианат - не было ничего на обсуждаемом заводе.
Зато было чему гореть и взрываться.
Что, возможно, потеряли? ну. во-первых, 225 тонн пероксидов. Видимо, кусками - сам завод. Было ли там что-то уникальное? Кто знает, но у Arkema есть еще как минимум один завод с пероксидами - в Европе. Их очень грустно перевозить/не кантовать, не греть, при пожаре выносить первыми/.
Гораздо более интересными являются заводы, не попавшие в новости. дело в том, что Хьюстон и окрестности - это целая агломерация, заводы/штаб квартиры. Камерон (то есть Шлюмберже, или они не весь Камерон съели?), Dow, два завода Аркемы (причем перекиси - фиг с ними, а вот завод акриловой кислоты - это интересно, это исходничек для буровых растворов и еще много чего)...термопласты...изоцианаты(ага, да-да)да их там куча!
