Успешное тестирование (ни один двигатель из СНГ не проходил через такие "круги ада")
The SaM146 completed its certification tests on May 26, 2010 by passing the final medium bird ingestion test.
PowerJet passed the last major SaM146 tests in 2010, including the fan blade out test on May 6. Earlier in the year the engine passed its block test, demonstrating performance under extreme operating conditions. The SaM146 also posted successful results on the vibration survey and low pressure turbine stress tests, highlighting its outstanding reliability. Throughout the certification test program, the SaM146's performance has fully matched or exceeded expectations. The SaM146 engine has logged 7,400 hours of testing to date, including 3,600 hours in flight.
PowerJet is now focusing on the ramp-up in engine production, as well as gearing up for in-service support to ensure customer satisfaction. On August 24, 2010, First SaM146 engine series has been sent from Rybinsk to Komsomolsk-sur-Amour. PowerJet has just achieved the engine podding (integration of the engine within the nacelle) in order to deliver the entire propulsion system to Sukhoi.
SaM146 major test milestones
• June 2010: Certification of the SaM146 engine
• May 2010: Medium bird ingestion test & Fan Blade Out
• April 2010: Crosswind
• March 2010: Vibration Survey
• March 2010: Low Pressure Stress
• January 2010: Block Test
The completion of the block test, which demonstrates the engine’s performance under extreme operating conditions, is a major step forward in the certification program.
• September to December 2009:
Hail storm ingestion tests
Hailstone ingestion tests
Water ingestion & HP turbine stress survey
• July 2009: End of second series of tests on flying testbed (power management and operability)
• May 2009: Core stress survey
• March 2009: Endurance (750 cycles)
производство и послепродажная поддержка. Ни один двигатель из СНГ не имеет ППО мирового класса, (кроме САМ146 конечно)
PowerJet is also focusing on the SSJ100’s successful entry in service, while ramping-up engine production. PowerJet is fully committed to ensuring total customer satisfaction right from service entry, by providing a state-of-the-art engine and delivering complete customer support services for the entire propulsion system
World-Class Customer Support
PowerJet has set up a complete support organization, designed to meet all airline requirements for immediate and long-term support. This organization calls on a Customer Support Management Team, Customer Support Center (24/7), training support, flight operations support, and much more. PowerJet is also working closely with Superjet International to make sure that customers receive seamless, world-class support services
Новая концепция двигателя и его преимущества перед "одноклассниками":
A new concept
• The SaM146 is a complete propulsion system, comprising engine, nacelle & equipment.
• It is the only engine designed and developed from the ground up for the regional aircraft market.
• Its performance is tailored to the specific needs of regional airlines.
• It develops 13,500 to 17,500 lb. of thrust: with a single engine covering the power needs of an entire family of aircraft, airlines will reap the benefits of commonality and economies of scale.
• It features a complete range of support services: SaM146 MRO will be provided exclusively by PowerJet, through the global networks of Snecma and NPO Saturn.
Advantages
High reliability
The SaM146 is designed for reliability on a par with the industry-leading CFM56
- Dispatch reliability ≥ 99.97% - In flight shutdown rate ≤ 0.006 per 1000 engine flight-hours
- Longer life on-wing between shop visits
• Low cost-of-ownership
The SaM146 is designed from the ground up to ensure cost-effective operation in regional airline service.
[Reduced fuel burn - Low direct maintenance cost - High resale value]
• Strong customer support
PowerJet directly provides a full range of support services for the entire propulsion system (engine, equipment and nacelle) As the single point of contact, PowerJet will set a new standard in customer relations.
• Commonality
A single engine covers an entire family of 70 to 120-seat aircraft.
• Environmental-friendliness
PowerJet was founded as an environmentally-responsible company.
[State-of-the-art “green” technology for engine design and production; meets or exceeds the most stringent upcoming noise and emissions standards (including CO2 and NOx)]
Новый завод, ВолгАэро:
The VolgAero plant, inaugurated in October 2005, is a state-of-the art production plant. It includes over 10,000 square meters of workshops, plus another 2,500 square meters of offices. VolgAero primarily makes parts for the SaM146: fan disk, low-pressure spool, casings, HP, supports for bearings, intermediate casing, exhaust casing and all accessory components. The plant has three product lines: rotating parts; mechanical and mechanically-welded casings; and engine accessory components. It also offers shared facilities for chemical, thermal and surface treatments (plasma, shot-peening, sand-blasting, etc.).
Open-Air Test Bench (OATB)
In 2007 Snecma and NPO Saturn built an open-air test bench in Poluevo, to handle certification tests for the SaM146. This test rig covers three types of testing: performance, certification tests (operation in cross-wind, water, ice and bird ingestions), and acoustic certification of the propulsion system. The only open-air test cell for this type of engine in Europe & Russia, it can also handle other engines.
