Джордж Блейк делает выбор

18-19 апреля в 22.30 на Первом канале состоится премьера фильма "Выбор агента Блейка", который является частью телевизионного проекта "Поединки", созданного студией "Артель" к 90-летию Службы внешней разведки России при содействии пресс-бюро СВР России.
Картина посвящена Джорджу Блейку - человеку уникальной судьбы, в которой было многое: служба в британской разведке (СИС), северокорейский плен, сотрудничество с советскими спецслужбами, побег из самой охраняемой лондонской тюрьмы.
Центральным эпизодом фильма стали события середины 50-х годов прошлого столетия. В декабре 1953 года на секретном совещании СИС и ЦРУ в Лондоне было принято решение о прокладке туннеля к линиям связи советских войск в ГДР с целью их прослушивания. Джордж Блейк, который на тот момент занимал один из руководящих постов в СИС, сообщил советской разведке о секретных планах Лондона и Вашингтона. Центром было принято решение использовать этот туннель для крупномасштабной дезинформации противника. Операция успешно продолжалась несколько лет.
Из-за предательства сотрудника польской разведки М. Голеневского Джордж Блейк был арестован....
