However the Right Sector members are being recruited to join the Ukrainian National Army. The Ukrainian National Army today consists mostly of Right Sector members. The red and black flag that they is the flag of Ukrainian Fascism and of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA), which assisted nazi Germany during the World War II. Ukrainian Insurgent Army murdered over 150,000 Jews in Babiy Yar in Kiev. Many Gypsies and Soviet POWs were also executed there. Over 100,000 women, children and unarmed men were slaughtered by UPA in Volhynia, Poland.
